Our history
- Creation of the company, Bretagne Emballage, dedicated to the plastic film trade for building and public works, industry and agriculture.
- Launch of the Cultisol brand for products for cultivation under plastic, especially for the public gardens sector.
- Launch of Geokit®, 1st complete kit of films and geotextiles for waterproofing autonomous waste water treatment networks.
- Bretagne Emballage officially becomes Cultisol, dedicated to trade in and processing of plastic films for buildings and gardens, organised around two specialist divisions: Professional Buildings and Public Gardens.
- Cultisol sets up a research and development programme for developing biodegradable films, the aim being to create a complete range for the general public network. Second enlargement of the Cultisol production site.
- Launch of the activity of manufacturing waterproofing pieces in EPDM and acquisition of a tool for production by hot vulcanisation which is unique in Europe.
- Transfer of the public garden activity to the Vilmorin group. Setting up of an R&D Department which specialises in elastomers, recruitment of a new materials engineering specialist.
- Refocussing on the flexible elastomer structure businesses with the launch of the EPDM 3D roof range.
- Creation of the Export Department. Launch of EPDM flexible tanks and ranges for waterproofing façades and foundations
- Cultisol changes its name and becomes Flexirub from 1st May 2015, making a link between its name and its business. Development of new technical elastomer-based products.
- Flexirub is 20-years’ old and obtains the (CSTB - Science and Technical Centre for Building) technical approval for roof waterproofing.
